Master quick changes of direction and elite ball control with this high-tempo pound, between-the-legs, and rapid 'pound' dribble progression.
The drill
Pound dribble → between-the-legs dribble → pound dribble (repeat same with both legs).
Down, between, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, hit.
Is this drill for you?
For intermediate handlers (Level 3) comfortable with a pound dribble who want to add a between-the-legs snap between pounds - no hoop, no partner, small-space friendly.
Variations: Both legs.
In a game: Pound-between-pound keeps the ball low and protected while changing sides - the sequence you use to escape a reach or reset your attack in a tight space.
Hard pounding is loud - not apartment friendly.
