Master low dribble control and lateral quickness by maintaining a deep lunge while shifting between cones, building balance and agility.
The drill
start with a low lunge position -->shift while making a crossover towards the cone -->try to touch the cone with free hand -->repeat it with other side .
Is this drill for you?
For intermediate players (Level 3) who stand tall through their moves and want the low lunge-level body control of a real drive - cones required.
Variations: Both sides.
In a game: Driving low through contact takes a base that stays down - this builds the lunge-level control that holds a line to the rim.
Needs a cone or marker; expect leg burn from the low stance.
