Coached by trainers like Sibelle Zambie, on your schedule.
Master advanced ball handling and hand-eye coordination by challenging yourself to simultaneously pound a basketball and tennis ball while executing crossovers.
The drill
Pound tennis ball and basketball simultaneously → execute dribble move while tennis ball is airborne → catch both.
Is this drill for you?
For intermediate ballhandlers (Level 3) who already own a between-the-legs pound and want to layer a tennis-ball reaction on top - no hoop, no partner, indoor space is enough.
Variations: The dribble move varies while the tennis ball is airborne.
In a game: When the ball is live you don't get to watch your dribble - the airborne tennis ball forces your eyes up and your hands to work on feel, the same split attention you need to read the floor while handling.
Pounding two balls is loud - needs a hard floor and downstairs-neighbor tolerance. Too advanced for beginners: master the single tennis-ball bounce first.
