Develop powerful spin moves and unwavering balance by attacking the paint, absorbing contact off a stability ball, and finishing strong.
The drill
Attack the paint (alternating sides) → spin off stability ball, absorbing contact → finish at the rim, owning your space.
This drill is called stability ball spin moves. All you're going to need is a partner and a stability ball, and we're going to make a move attacking the paint and spin off the stability ball, absorbing that bump and really feeling that spin off. Really work on holding your base and owning your space, not getting bumped off your line.
Is this drill for you?
For intermediate finishers (Level 3) building contact-proof spin moves off a stability ball with a partner.
Variations: Per the trainer: hold your base and own your space - do not get bumped off your line.
In a game: Spinning off a bump is real-game finishing - you learn to hold your line when the defender leans on you.
Needs a partner, a stability ball, and a hoop.
← Easier: Master the Half Spin · Harder: Dynamic Finishing Moves Circuit →
