Is this drill for you?

For intermediate ballhandlers (Level 3) tying direction changes to cone touches - BTB and BTL touches, then lunge and rapid versions.

Trains: change of direction · ball-handling · lateral quickness · balance

The ladder: Beginner low-dribble touches first, then the lunge version, then the rapid crossover shifts.

Variations: Touch with the opposite hand each rep.

In a game: Touching the cone teaches you to get your hand and hip outside the defender's frame on every change.
