Drill 1 of 3
Right hand dribble → behind back (R→L) → crossover (L→R)
Drill 2 of 3
Right hand dribble → between legs (R→L) → crossover (L→R)
Drill 3 of 3
Right hand dribble → between legs (L→R) → between legs (R→L)
Is this drill for you?
For advanced ballhandlers (Level 4) who already own a crossover and want to shift a defender's weight with combo dribbles around a cone - no hoop or partner needed.
The ladder: Combo 1 (behind the back to crossover), then combo 2 (between the legs to crossover), then combo 3 (double between the legs).
Variations: Both hands; three escalating combos.
In a game: Shifting a defender side to side before attacking is how you open a driving lane against set defense - these combos build that weight-shift deception.
Too advanced for beginners.
